The Murray Bridge Community Centre is a not-for-profit organisation that began operations in 1989 in response to local community demand to provide a range of services to the Murray Bridge Community. The Centre is part of a network of over 84 Community and Neighbourhood Houses and Centres throughout South Australia and is a member of the Community Centres SA.
The Murray Bridge Community Centre is a not-for-profit organisation which relies on State Funding, grants and donations with the support and generosity of the local community and businesses. The Centre provides a chance for the community to meet people in their local area, make new friends, learn new skills, and develop networks of support and care that extend beyond the walls of the Community Centre and contributes to the well-being of the community.
The strength of Murray Bridge Community Centre is in our openness and flexibility. Its aim is to respond to community needs in a relaxed and informal style that encourages active participation. We hope that people will be encouraged, through Centre involvement, to develop and enrich their lives, recognise their strengths, at the same time accepting and appreciating the differences between people.
The Murray Bridge Community Centre is a living, growing, active part of the Murray Bridge Community, and aims to continue to meet the needs of residents – so, if you have any comments, criticism, praise or ideas, please don’t hesitate to share them with us.
