Welcome to our community
Welcome to our community
The Murray Bridge Community Centre is a place where you can connect with people, learn new skills and achieve personal growth in a safe and welcoming environment.
We offer a range of services from short courses, social events, community garden and activities as well as assistance with mental health, legal or financial matters and support if you are experiencing homelessness or domestic violence.
The Murray Bridge Community Centre is an independent, incorporated and not-for-profit organisation. We are driven by volunteers and we rely on grant funding and income from our day-to-day business and programs.
Our aim is to be inclusive and accessible, offering a range of services and activities that encourage self-development and personal growth and supports healthy connections between people.
“Valuing all individuals as equal members of the community”
"Provide equal and inclusive access to programs and services that aim to increase the capacity, resilience and wellbeing of our community."
We're here to help
Below you will find information on the programs and services we provide, including how to join our team in one of the many rewarding volunteer roles. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to drop in to the centre or contact us for more information, we are always here to help.
Whether you are interested in brushing up on your computer skills, learning a new craft, practising yoga or playing board games, we have a huge range of programs available to our community.
Our programs are delivered in a welcoming and inclusive environment by professional, knowledgeable and friendly tutors. Enrolling in a program is also a great way to make friends and meet new people with similar interests.
We have a number of services available within the centre for our community members to access such as free general legal advice and tax help.
Our centre is a great source of information and referral to a wide range of services from women’s health and safety, legal advice and tax help, mental health and GP assistance and counselling services for relationship matters.
